The Montreal Jazz Festival, the world’s largest Jazz music festival, has been canceled this year due to Coronavirus pandemic.

This has been confirmed by the managing team of the festival. He has told that this festival to be held in francophone metropolis, Canada, will not be held this year.
Its earlier schedule has been canceled on June 25.
Jacques Primeau, general manager of the Jazz Music Festival, stated in his statement that “This decision, which was made with our private partners and the government, was not an easy one, but it had become necessary in order to protect the public, the artists and our employees.”

He told that the Francos de Montreal music festival to be held on 12 June has also been canceled.
