Wajid 42, died early Monday in a hospital in Mumbai. The report quoted music composer Salim Merchant as saying that Wajid was admitted to Surana Hospital in Chembur for the last few days, where his condition worsened.
A few days ago, he was diagnosed with a kidney infection and his health worsened. He was on ventilator for the last four days. There are reports that Wajid had also fallen victim to Corona virus.
