UP government allows 800 more labor special trains for migrant laborers


Indian Railways has gained momentum in the process of getting people to their place. According to the railway, 1,414 workers have run special trains since May 1. This has brought about 18.5 lakh migrants to their homes.

Most of these trains have run from Gujarat and Maharashtra. Railways said that about 116 trains are in the process of being run. According to information received from the railway, 496 trains were run from Gujarat and 17 more are in the process of being run.

266 trains were run from Maharashtra and 37 more are in the process of being run. 188 trains were run from Punjab, 89 from Karnataka, 61 from Tamil Nadu, 58 from Telangana, 54 from Rajasthan.

Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh government has allowed 800 more laborers special trains to come to their states for migrant laborers. For this, the railway has also given approval.
