UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres emphasized the important role of women in establishing peacekeeping on the occasion of United Nations International Peace Soldiers Day.

During this, he said, We are also marking the 20th anniversary of Security Council resolution 1325 this year, which is based on women, peace and security.
He added, “We are celebrating International Day of UN Peacekeepers with the theme of Women in Peace Keeping: A Key to Peace.”
She said, Women Peacekeepers (Women Peacekeepers) are helping to improve all aspects of our operations and performance day by day. They also work to ensure better access to local communities and prevent conflict and conflict situations.
