The Victims Of Covid-19 From The Nearby Bungalows
Last week, when the security guard of the past master legend actress Rekha’s was diagnosed with Covid-19, the residence bungalow, Sea Springs at the Bandra Bandstand area in Mumbai was sealed and declared a containment zone by the BMC officials. Now, according to the reports from Hindustan Times, three staff working in the nearby bungalows of the actor’s residence have also been tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus. The officials tell that the three security guards were among close contacts of the COVID positive, they were stationed at Rekha’s bungalow.
What About The Security Staff Of The Neighboring Bungalow Owned By The Lyricist Javed Akhtar
The Leading Daily further discusses that the BMC officials tested close contacts of Rekha’s guard, including security staff guarding the lyricist Javed Akhtar’s bungalow and the housing society where both the bungalows are located. Javed Akhtar also got his guards tested, but luckily they tested negative, yet three other guards from the housing society tested positive for COVID-19.
Only One Toilet for Tens of Bungalow Security Staff
A BMC official states to Hindustan Times, “The two bungalows [Rekha’s and Akhtar’s] are there in the society, but both have separate entrances, and the society gate is separate. But there is not any other toilet for the security guards, and all of Rekha, Akhtar,and other guards used the same toilet. Therefore three of the security staff members of the society have tested positive. They have been institutionally quarantined and are getting initial treatment.”
The Staff Of Hindustan Times Could Not Get Access To Rekha
While many news sources stated that it is not yet known if Rekha, who has been living in home isolation for a few past weeks, took a COVID-19 test, From Hindustan Times, a reporter reveals that “We had been to her house on Monday, yet we were not allowed to enter the house. We cannot pressurize, or force them to test due to which we have intimated them that they must get tested if they feel it necessary.”

In the meantime, a large number of celebrities including Anupam Kher’s family, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachan, Aaradhya Bachchan, TV actors Parth Samthaan and Shrenu Parikh have tested positive for COVID-19 in the current week. One of Sara Ali Khan’s staff (the driver) has also tested positive for COVID-19.
