It is not hidden from anyone in Bollywood that the relationship between Sunny Deol and Shahrukh Khan was not good. The two worked together in Yash Chopra’s film Dar, but never came together after this.
The two did not talk to each other for years after the estrangement during this film, but now it seems that due to Sunny’s film Damini, the wall of animosity between these two stars is collapsing.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Sunny Deol wants to remake his national award-winning film Damini with son Karan. Shahrukh’s company, Red Chillies Entertainment, was bought by the film’s rights makers Ali and Karim Morani.
Sunny Deol had mentioned the incident of estrangement with Shahrukh in the India TV program. When Sunny was asked if Shah Rukh and Yash Chopra feared him on the sets, Sunny said- I think he was afraid because he was wrong.
Recalling the incident, Sunny said – I was doing a scene in which Shahrukh stabs me. I had a heated argument with Yash Chopra about this. I tried to convince them that I am a commando officer in the film, my character is an expert, I am physically fit.
