The report said that the rocket launched took astronauts to safe orbit within a few minutes. During this time the space agency was closely monitoring the NASA operation.

The US is the first time a private company rocket has flown with astronauts in a Dragon capsule. With this launch, a new era of commercial space travel has started in America.
