Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty became a mother on 15 February this year through surrogacy. Shilpa has now revealed in an interview that she wanted to have a second child after son Vian for quite some time, but due to a disease, Shilpa could not become a mother.

Shilpa told that after Vian, I had wanted a second child for quite some time. But I had a disease called auto immune, also known as APLA, and whenever I was pregnant, this disease used to come in the middle. So I had some miscarriages.
Shilpa Shetty further said- I did not want to raise Vian as a single child, because I am also one of the two. I know how important it is to have a brother or sister. So I thought of other remedies as well, but that didn’t work.

Shilpa further revealed that she also thought about adopting the child. Everything was fine, but then the Christian missionary was stopped because of some dispute with Kara.
I waited four years and then when I was very irritated, we decided to take the path of surrogacy. Sameesha was born after three tries.
