Indian stock markets opened with gains on Thursday and early trading is also seeing a boom. The Bombay Stock Exchange Sensitive Index Sensex opened 222.58 points at 31,827.80 on Thursday.
It was trading 0.70 per cent or 221.09 points at 31,826 on Thursday morning at 9.28 am. In early trading on Thursday, 20 of the 30 stocks of the Sensex were seen trading on the green mark and 10 on the red mark.

In early trade on Thursday, the National Stock Exchange’s index Nifty has also been trending upwards. It appeared to be trending at 9,382.55 with an increase of 0.73 per cent or 67.60 points at 9:30 am on Thursday morning.
At this time, 35 shares of Nifty with 50 shares appeared on green mark, 13 shares on red mark and 2 shares trended without any change.
The Nifty was the biggest gainer in early trade with 2.63% in ONGC, 2.45% in TATA STEEL, 2.83% in Larsen & Toubro, 2.71% in AXIS BANK and 2.67% in IndusInd Bank.
At the same time, the Nifty-50 shares fell the most in early trade at 1.35 percent in ITC, 1.27 percent in Infosys, 1.12 percent in Mahindra & Mahindra, 1.04 percent in WIPRO and 1.01 percent in HCL Technologies.
