New York has the highest outbreak of coronavirus pandemic, which has also saddened the cast and crew of “Saturday Night Live”.
He lost his partner music producer Hal Willner to coronavirus only a week ago. He considers the pain of all the people of New York because he too has lost one of his companions.

All of Saturday Night Live’s past and present artists such as Kate McKinnon, Adam Sandler, Bill Hader, Kenan Thompson, Pete Davidson and Fred Armisen have aired Saturday’s unusual remote episode to give them a lovely tribute.
Production of the show was stopped due to coronavirus pandemic from March 7, but a special show was filmed to give them a tribute.
Hal Willner joined Saturday Night Live in 1980 and worked in it until a recent episode. He also worked as a record producer with Marianne Faithfull and Laurie Anderson.
