The Bharatiya Janata Party has removed Manoj Tiwari from the post of Delhi Pradesh. The central unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party has appointed Aadesh Gupta as the new president of the Delhi Pradesh BJP.
Aadesh Gupta has been considered among the grassroots leaders. Aadesh Gupta, the mayor of the Northern MCD, has a strong hold in local politics.

Bharatiya Janata Party President JP Nadda issued the order and appointed new presidents in two more states. Vishnu Dev Sai has been made BJP President in Chhattisgarh. At the same time, S. Tikendra Singh has been made the President of BJP in Manipur.
The reason behind why Manoj Tiwari was removed from the post is not clear at the moment. It is believed that the BJP has put forward this face to please the business class.
Manoj Tiwari was detained along with party workers on Monday on charges of violating the lockdown rule. They had gathered at Rajghat to protest against the Arvind Kejriwal government’s failure to control COVID-19 in Delhi.
