President Ramnath Kovind mourned the death of Irrfan khan.
President Kovind tweeted, ‘Deeply saddened by the untimely demise of noted actor Irrfan Khan. He was a rare talent-rich artist. The imprint of his diverse roles will always be etched in our hearts.

His death is an irreparable loss to the cine world and countless admirers. My condolences to his family and loved ones.
Actually, Irfan was fighting a rare type of cancer for a long time. The actor was handed over to the Versova cemetery at 3 pm. Family, close relatives and friends attended his funeral.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote condolences on his death. He said – Irfan Khan’s departure is a big loss for the world of cinema and theater.
