India-China: Army ready to respond to China, PM Modi convenes all-party meeting

In this virtual meeting, all parties will be informed about the ongoing tension with China for the last few days. The meeting will be attended by Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Uddhav Thackeray, Sharad Pawar, Akhilesh Yadav, Hemant Soren, Mamta Banerjee, Chandrababu Naidu.

Many opposition parties, including the Congress, are questioning the central government over the India-China border dispute.

After the Galvan Valley incident, the Indian army has increased its troops here. Not only this, about two-three kilometers away from this place dozens of army trucks are standing with their necessary resources.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has paid tribute to the 29 Indian soldiers who died in the conflict with China.

On 15-16 June, a large number of people gathered in the last visit of the soldier, Jai Kishore Singh, who lost his life in a clash in the Galvan Valley. During this time people present there shouted slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Jai Kishore Amar Rahe’.
