In Mahabharata, Mukesh Khanna get the role of Bhishma Pitamah. But He wanted to do Arjun playing.
But Mukesh believes that God’s will performs some things. One such was Bhishma Pitamah’s role.
Goofy Pental had played Shakuni’s role in the Mahabharata, with which he was one of the Mahabharata’s casting directors.
Goofy was Mukesh Khanna Goofy’s first call to take up four names. Arjuna, Karna, Bhishma and Krishna. Mukesh agreed to the auditions, on the same lines.
Goofy’s call came after some time and he said BR Chopra saheb wants you to be playing Duryodhana. Mukesh refuses flatly to say the villain isn’t coming out of him.
B.R.Chopra then asked Mukesh Khanna to take the role of Bhishma Pitamah.
