Tarvaris Jackson played the quarterback for a long time for the Vikings, Seahawks and Bills team. After retiring from the sport, he first worked as a quality control coach and QB coach of Alabama State in 2018.
He then started working as a coach at Tennessee State University in 2019.

In 2016, Jackson was caught by his wife Lakitta for his possession of a firearm, but his wife withdrew her case and married again. They have three children.
He won Super Bowl XLVIII in the last three years of his career. On his death Russell Wilson wrote on his Twitter account that “TJack … you will be missed. Praying for your family … Love you man.”
