The incident of mob lynching in Palghar district of Maharashtra is being strongly opposed on social media. Bollywood actors Farhan Akhtar and Anupam Kher have also condemned the violence and said that the rowdy mob should have no place in society.

Farhan Akhtar wrote on Twitter, ‘I strongly condemn this violence, which killed 3 people in Palghar. Mobilization should have no place in society and I hope the killers have been arrested and justice will also be given as soon as possible.’
At the same time, Anupam Kher also reacted to this incident and wrote, ‘Mob lynching of three sadhus in Palghar is very sad and frightening. Could not watch the video till the end. what is going on? Why is this happening? This is the heinous crime of humanity.
Three people were murdered on suspicion of theft in Gadchinchale village of Palghar. It is being told that these three people were going to attend the funeral of someone from Mumbai to Surat, while in Palghar district, a crowd of about 100 people broke up on them. In fact, the villagers considered these people as thieves and went on attacking them.
