In the year 2001, Farhan Akhtar made the film ‘Dil Chahta Hai’. He both directed and produced it. It featured Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Preity Zinta and Dimple Kapadia in the lead roles. The song became famous along with the film. It also received a National Award.
