Cyclone Amphan collides with Indian coast in Bengal, According to Meteorological Department- ‘will continue for four hours’

Cyclone Amphan hit the Indian coast in West Bengal on Wednesday. It is raining heavily.

Kolkata Meteorological Department Tweeted that the process of landfall of Amfan started in West Bengal at 2.30 pm and will continue for the next four hours.

Due to cyclone, about 4.5 lakh people have been evacuated to safe places in Bengal and Odisha.

Cyclone Amphan will take a terrible form when it hits West Bengal on Wednesday. Director General of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) SN Pradhan has given this information to reporters
