Daily COVID-19 Update: 2,16,919 cases of corona virus so far in India

According to the Ministry of Health, Coronavirus in India has so far reported 2,16,919 cases. Of these, 1,06,737 are active cases. 1,04,106 people have recovered from the infection and 6075 people have died.

Maharashtra has the highest number of 74,860 cases. There have been 25,872 cases in Tamil Nadu. There have been 23645 cases in Delhi.

The Union Health Ministry has released a new guideline on office functioning. It states that pregnant women, people above 65 years and people who already have serious illnesses, should avoid going to work. Physical distance, cleanliness, sensitization has also been said to be taken care of at the work place.

Each coach will have 16 beds and an oxygen cylinder. Each of these coaches will have a doctor, nurse, attendant and cleaning staff. If the doctor feels that a patient is not getting well, then he will be immediately sent to the Korna Hospital.

At the Shakurbasti railway station in Delhi, the Indian Railways converted 10 coaches of the train into isolation wards for the corona patients. It has a total of 160 beds.
