The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to cancel the 10th and 12th Class board examinations to be held between 1st and 15th of July, in the board meeting held this morning, this decision has been taken in view of the threat of Covid 19 (Coronavirus) virus.The bench headed by Justice AM Khanwilkar was informed by Solicitor General Tushar Mehta that a plan has been prepared to assess the 12th standard students on the basis of their performance in the previous examinations. The top court was also informed that These students will have the option to appear in the examination to be conducted in the state or to adopt the process of assessment based on past performance. CBSE cancels Class 10 exams, makes Class 12 exam optional. Covid has knocked the Boards out of their coma. But all they know is to run exams to filter OUT learners and wield power thru that. Coronavirus has proved no one needs that other than the self serving Boards themselves.
