Today is the birthday of actress Poonam Dhillon, who has given her all her beauty in Bollywood. She was born on 18 April 1962 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Her father was an aircraft engineer in the Indian Air Force.
Poonam was so beautiful that director Yash Chopra offered her his film ‘Trishul’.

To become an actress, Poonam Dhillon wanted to become a doctor rather than an actress. But luck accepted something else. Please tell that Poonam had refused to work in her debut film ‘Trishul’. But later on agreeing enough, she agreed.
In one scene of this film, Poonam was supposed to slap Shashi Kapoor. To make the scene real, Yash Chopra said action Shashi Kapoor gave a strong slap to Poonam Dhillon without telling her.
Poonam has also been in the news for her married life. She married film producer Ashok Thakeria in 1988. After marriage, Poonam did not work in films for about 5 years. After this, in 1997, he again made a comeback with the film ‘Judaai’.
