Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman, who had composed nine songs in Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film, ‘Dil Bechara’, now comes forward and shares his story of being targeted for a long time by the industry.

What Could Be There Behind Spreading The False Rumors, Misunderstandings?

AR Rahman revealed the facts in an interview with Radio Mirchi and said that there is a gang spreading deceitful, and false rumors about him in the Hindi film industry. It’s caused him not to get any project from Bollywood.

In that interaction, Rahman was asked about why he does comparatively fewer Hindi films, as opposed to his frequent work in the Tamil industry. He replied as, “I don’t say no to good movies, but I think there is a gang, which, due to misunderstandings, is spreading some false rumors.”

The Reason To Work Less In Hindi Films

To prove his statement he shared a recent incident that happened with him. He said, “When Mukesh Chhabra came to me, and requested me to work for him. In two days, I gave him four songs, and on completing the task, Mukesh told me, ‘Sir, there are many people who forbad to come to you in open word, and they told me several stupid stories after stories.’

I heard all that calmly, and now I realize, yeah okay, now I understand why I am composing less music in Hindi films, and why the good movies are not coming to me. I am working on dark movies, because there is a whole gang spreading rumors, and working against me, without them knowing that they are doing badly.”
