The New York Post news agency’s sports photographer Anthony Causi has died because of Coronavirus.
He was a very highly skilled and exceedingly photographer. Causi has photographed several iconic sports moments for The New York Post Agency.
He was fighting coronavirus disease for the last three weeks. This time too, he took photos of his hospital as a true photographer and posted it on his Instagram account.
At his death, New York Post editor-in-chief Stephen Lynch stated in his report that “Anthony Causi was our colleague, our friend and a brilliant journalist.”

“He was, quite simply, one of the best sports photographers in New York City, capturing all the major moments of the past 25 years. Soft-spoken, funny, but most of all kind – he was respected by those he photographed and admired by those with whom he worked.”

In the hospital, he wrote on his Instagram post that “I never thought I would get something like this.i thought I was indestructible. If I do make it out of here. I promise you this the world is not going to know what hit it”

On his death, New York Sport wrote on his Twitter account that “Anthony Causi, a longtime photographer for the Post whose prolific talent and larger-than-life personality made him a fixture in the New York sports world, died Sunday of the coronavirus at North Shore University Hospital. He was 48. “
