While Disney is restoring the remake of Robin Hood, their 1973 animated musical comedy film, they are in its early stages. The remake is produced in a CGI / Live Action Hybrid format, similar to Disney’s “The Jungle Book” and “Dumbo” as reported by Variety.com. The film is being recast for Disney Plus streaming service.
Last month before the start of the covid-19 pandemic Estrada and Granland signed on to the project. The original 1973 film was based on Robin Hood’s classic novel, Little John, Fryer Tuck, Made Marian and Nottingham’s Sheriff. The character of Robin Hood is the one of a fox, who leads the fight against excessive taxation by Prince John.
