Amid lockdown, PM Modi will do ‘Mann ki Baat’ Today


Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak to the citizens today, ‘Mann Ki Baat’, after announcing the expansion of lockdown across the country. This is the third time during the Corona crisis that PM Modi is going to address the people of the country through this program.

It is believed that during the 65th edition of its monthly radio program, PM can talk about the discounts given in lockdown from June 1.

On Saturday, the Union Home Ministry has issued new guidelines for the reopening of all activities outside the containment zone as part of the next phase of lockdown starting June 1. The new guidelines have introduced a road map to remove the restrictions in three stages.

The first phase will open religious sites, hotels, restaurants and malls from June 8. In the second phase, schools, colleges and other educational institutions will be opened from July. In the third phase, international air travel will be opened including metro, cinema hall, gym, swimming pool.

This version of Mann Ki Baat is happening a day after the first anniversary of the second term of the Modi government. In the 64th episode of Mann Ki Baat, the Prime Minister focused on the prevailing situation in the country due to the corona virus and urged people to help the poor, migrants and the needy during the lockdown.
