Number of infected in the country increased to 490401

During the last twenty four hours in the country, 17,296 new cases have been reported which has increased the number of infected to 4,90,401. During this period, 407 people have also died, due to which the number of those who lost their lives so far has also increased to 15,301.

In the country, the rate of recovery of patients is also increasing continuously amid the increasing infection of corona virus.

According to the Union Health Ministry, 2,85,636 patients have been fully recovered so far. In the last 24 hours only 13,940 patients have been discharged from the hospital.

More than half of the total infected cases have occurred in 10 cities and districts. These include Delhi, Chennai, Thane, Mumbai, Palghar, Pune, Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Ahmedabad and Faridabad.

Only 54.47 percent of these cities and districts are infected. According to the Health Ministry, 2,99,866 cases were reported from June 1 to June 26.

According to the Ministry of Health, a total of 4,90,401 infected cases have been reported in the country so far. Of this, 1,89,463 active cases remain. The number of healthy patients is 96,173 more than active cases. The number of patients recovering has increased to 58.24 percent.
